This is an intensive and interactive land survey review workshop designed for candidates planning to sit for the national licensing exam. The class will offer a comprehensive review of topics as listed within the Fundamentals (FS) Exam specifications and the Principles and Practices (PS) exam specifications as shown on the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Land Surveying website. In addition, this course will offer study tips for preparing and taking this challenging exam.
Day one focuses on basic math/science applications, computer operations, written communications, boundary law, cadastral law, business law/management, field data acquisition and reduction, photo image data acquisition and reduction, graphical communication, plane survey calculation and more.
Day two focuses on standards, legal principles, survey research, field procedures, calculations, documentation, project planning and contracts, and business best practices.
