Great pics as always Daryl. Looks like your living quarters have been upgraded from the shipping container abode you had earlier in the season.

Are you heading back to Welches soon?

Daryl,

Great pics.

Do you guys contract as a crew for the work or do you contract as individuals to lidar who form the crew?

I remember working in remote centre of OZ for 6 weeks in gas fieldslocating wells ans setting control.. when 25. Sleeping under the stars with no mod cons like you had .  Plane would drop off fresh meat as no refrigeration . Could only drink beer for breakfast as day time 100F plus but screaming down to about 35 F over night.

Hi Richard...

The company I work for  subcontracted to a Lidar outfit to set the primary control across the state...but am not involved with the Lidar itself. They were trying to fly the pipeline corridor past couple weeks but I think the snow has or will shut them down until spring. I wouldn't mind seeing their side of the operation.

I have 3 weeks more of remote work here...but its getting rather late with the winter knocking on the door. Beer for breakfast!...thats what I'm having today!

Hey, I was working along the same route doing construction surveying this summer. From pump 3 to the Canadian Border on about 7 different jobs (whew!). Saw your guys control everywhere, never met you though!
