Kieth, was the "error" discovered by a private surveyor or USFS? I would like to ask you several questions about this and similar cases, if you are interested. Please email me at my profile address - thanks

Keith, I used to call you Keith "Straw Man" Williams, ...and sometimes, whenever I am in Europe anyway,  "Aunt Sally".

However, after reading your recent ramblings it is now just "Survey Troll".

I can't wait for the field notes to be available online...maybe I should send a letter to the BLM and see what the hold-up is.  I mean, 1970's...really?  They should have those online by now right?

Hey Buckshot,

if you look really really really close, you could read that another Williams is listed as the surveyor on some plats,

And if you wanted to be helpful, you might check my surveys in So. Dak.

My biggest project was in T 3 S, R 4 E, BHM, and had something like 200 pages of field notes and 22 sheets to the survey plat.

You could learn how to  survey and resurvey if you would review it!

I have heard that this was stated from a BLM Cadastral surveyor!

"If you find fencelines, monuments, or evidence on the ground for a center 1/4 corner that is 30 feet "off", do you reject it? His answer: "Whether or not it is 30' "off" is not a consideration when we (the BLM) do resurveys".

What kind of baloney is that?

Did I really hear that?

Last January 24, 2014, I sent a letter to Congress and expressed my opinion about the private legislation on the controversy of the surveys/resurveys in Coconino County, AZ and as of now, I have not had the courtesy of a return letter or any contact.

In the next few days, I will publish my letter here for all to see and you can come to your own conclusions.
