Surveying the Market in Connecticut

There are mixed signs for the survey market in Connecticut, according to a report on The number of licensed surveyors in Connecticut has decreased from 751 in 2009 to 718 in 2013, but, according to Peter DeMallie of Design Professionals Inc., there is some optimism that the market is picking up.

"It's been improving to the degree that people who had been on the sidelines — developers, builders — are coming back into the market,'' the former South Windsor town planner said. "We're expecting either 2014 or 2015 will be the first of many successive years of a normal business environment."
